Description: Of a singular and attractive charm, this Bureau Bookcase features a simple plain cornice over a dentil moulding forming the crown of the piece. The extremely useful item has a style fashionable in the Georgian period which is still very popular to the present day.
The glazed bookcase is fitted with adjustable shelves and satin lining to the rear.
Opening the lockable fall flap reveals a gold tooled leather writing surface. The interior contains a tiered arrangement of small drawers for writing accessories and stamps etc. There are several hidden and concealed compartments within the interior drawer section.
