Fair Trade

Because we work very closely with our supply company in Indonesia we are able to ensure that our products are manufactured in general accordance with the recommendations of the Fair Trade Organisation, and all local laws.

Very briefly this means that: Wages paid to all workers are above the local minimum wage. Benefits such as meal allowance, health care and transport are provided. Good practice is followed in Health and Safety matters. No child or under age labour is used. Workers representatives are appointed and consulted.

Where we supply products from other manufacturers, we endeavour to ensure that such manufacturers also apply the same good standards as ourselves.
